Little worries!!

I dont know if its just me but i feel like theres always something new to worry about with pregnancy, i just stop worrying about one thing and another crops up!!

At the moment im worried because i mentioned to the midwife that baby seems to move non stop for 2 or 3 days then is really quiet for 2 days afterwards and she said that if i was further along then she may be worried and send me for monitoring?! Anyone had the same kind of movement pattern... i just thought it was normal?!

Also i have been having some quite yellow/dark yellow discharge to the point where it is ruining every pair of pants i own because its staining them!! I did have quite dark discharge before i was pregnant but not as bad as now.. any one had similar?? x x x

Movement at your stage was like that for my LO. Some days, reallly quiet, then others he was a maniac. Kick counts didn't start until 28 weeks anyway.

Now, at 33 weeks, he's moving all the time.

But, I know what you mean...these worries never seem to stop. I guess that goes with the territory about having to care for something you cannot see. Have faith - all will be well!

my little man still has really quiet days then he'll have a mad day to make up for it. have you mentioned the discharge to MW? i've had loads of yellow discharge since i fell pregnant, no infection or anything, but a few times it has actually bleached my underwear, something to do with a high PH level or something xx

My baby has a couple of "busy" days and then a couple of quiet. She has been like this all the way through. I do have an anterior placenta though so some of the movements, even now I cant always feel, DH can though.
I mentioned the busy/quiet days to my MW and she wasnt worried. I thought as long as you are getting 10 movemets all is usually ok?

my baby is exactly the same, i get days of crazy movements like today, then he / she will be quiet for a few days, but like you hun i assume its normal xx

I've had discharge all throughout - mostly yellow. I had a yeast infection once, but that cleared up with the help of Canestan. I've also had brownish-tinged discharge, tan discharge and once in a while dark brown. All have been tested and cleared - there is nothing wrong!

As for baby movements, your baby is moving, but has perhaps found a different position that doesn't let you feel him/her as much. My baby has two places he likes to be: in one, I can feel him move the second I touch my belly. The other, it feels like he is kicking my cervix and bum, so I'm guessing he is really facing inside. I don't feel him as often when he's in the second position.

i'm always worried about something! my pregnancy has been so difficult emotionally AND physically. my best friend who was pregnant a year before me went without a hitch, easy pregnancy, easy labor, & a baby who barely cried! jealousss hahah

I thought those were normal movement patterns as well. You always hear babies are human and not machines and will have quiet days and busy days, but as long as you are getting the right about of movement, intensity is variable...from what I've hearr.

About the discharge, though, mine lightly yellow, doesn't smell or itch and I thought this was normal...got examined yesterday though and it turns out I have a yeast infection AND bacterial vaginosis. So maybe the discharge is worth getting looked at...I'm now on cream and antibiotics.

My little mans the same Hun and has been since about week 28 some days like yesterday I could feel him literally on and off all day but Monday he was quieter !
I still worry but my mw has said on quiet days they are generally having a growth spurt x

Thanks ladies, I think hormones have turned me into a worrier!! Its nice to know we are all the same and have a place to share our concerns! x x x
