Hi there ladies,

I'm 14 weeks 1 day today & a little concerned. All day at work I have had tummy cramps, it's worse standing up & in my job, I am on my feet for 6 hours a shift. I had pains like this at 12 weeks & when I rang my midwife, she told me not to worry, it will be my uterus moving up & my body making room for the baby. I've had no bleeding or anything like that.
I'm just worried, could the pains I had today still be growing pains? Has anyone else felt this? I'm lay down with a hot water bottle now & it's eased off, but hurts again when I'm on my feet. I'm on a 7 hour shift tomorrow & hope it goes away before then as I was useless in work today.
I haven't rang my midwife as I feel stupid as I rang for the same thing 2 weeks ago.

Any advice or experience in this will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you Xx

I've had cramps, both mild and strong, on and off this entire pregnancy. Try not to worry :hugs:

I'm only 12 weeks but I've had cramps pretty constantly throughout this pregnancy (not something I really suffered with with my first). I've never had any bleeding so not been worried, put it down to growing pains.

Hope this doesn't come out wrong but are you sure it's not constipation? I've had this a lot and it can really hurt.

I think round ligament pain feels a lot like cramps. That's very normal throughout pregnancy :) It's just your uterus growing and stretching.

I'm having some pulling type pains (they are lower) tonight. Try not to worry :) If you think you need checked then go in! I hope all is well with baby <3

OH god...I've cramped SO SO BAD with each of my successful pregnancies. With my son it was so extreme I went to the ER several times. Each time I was fine. I usually get the menstrual type cramps.

I recently discovered that taking my magnesium supplement (Natural Calm) reduces my cramping A LOT. I recommend you try it if you struggle with cramping.
