I originally wanted to use my surname as a second middle name but am definitely using Rose as a middle name for a girl and do not like how Liv Rose flows. So, I can either add another middle name to honor a family member (was considering a version of helen or elizabeth) or use a longer name than liv as it does seem short to some for a formal first name. I like Livia a lot but worry it is just too close to the very popular Olivia. So, instead I was considering Lydia and as a little girl can call her Lyddi. I think it is sweet but strong and substantial
My husband does like Liv a lot (though he is fine with Lydia too). He also likes Elle/Ellie so thought using L.E. for initials could possibly give his Ellie nickname ("L-E"). Also, if we name our daughter Liv I plan on calling her Livvi as a little girl so again, "Liv-E" would be nice. Please help by looking over my Liv combos or telling me if you prefer Lydia with my surname included (Kessul) or any other thoughts/options you can think of whether it be a first name or different middle name.
Thanks in advance! Oh, and Beaty is pronounced "Bee-dee"
Liv E___ Rose Beaty
Elowen
Elka
Eleni or Elena
Ella
Eliza (though said outloud it sounds like "live a lie" which I don't like)
Emiko (means smiling child in Japanese)
Esme
Eila (version of Isla which is a name hubby likes)
Ember
Emelia
Lydia Rose Kessul Beaty
Which do you prefer, Liv or Lydia?
