Lmp 29/7..edd5/5/2012??

Hi all

Im from the UK and wondered if we have our Maths wrong here..it is the NHS, afterall...))

does anyone share the same LMP as me and EDD?? I thought I'd be 8 weeks now and due 27th April.. she put me back a week..

Am I suffering baby brain?

hmmm that does seem strange, my lmp was 1/8 edd 9/5/2012 and I would say i'm 7weeks so u should be 8 weeks really, did u have a scan? sometimes they'll date you from the size of the baby rather than lmp, strange I know!! I think I'd still go by my lmp! lol good luck if they wanna try and put me back! haha! i've been looking forward to being a week further gone every week! lol x

edit- actually scrap that!! I seem to be the one with baby brain! You are 3 days in front of me so yeah you should be 7 weeks and 3 days lol, you'll be 8 weeks on friday...if that makes sense? lol

my lmp date is the same as yours hun but my cycle is between 24 - 26 days so my edd is different to yours. The 05/05 is my 3 year olds birthday so I hope they dont change my dates lol

my period was 29th july too so im 8 weeks on friday aswell but as others have said it can change slightly when they scan you..because of how long your cycle is etc...

you say that but my b-day is 6th may and I wouldn't wanna share my b-day either haha! but it's not the end of the world if I do! Just don't wanna be in labour on my b-day! lol x

my lmp was 23 july and doc said my edd is 30th april but i work it out to be 28th april.... and babys usually make there own mind up when they like to arrive lol x

im same as you but im 6+6 measurements after an early scan yesterday so ive been put back even further! although i was told due date 5th may by my midwife so id say theyre right

youll know more at your dating scan!

My Lmp was July 21 so I am 8+5, so if you are 8 days behind me then you are 7+4. My EDD is 26th April (It is a leap year) so that would make your EDD the 4th of May. (The whole leap year thing they seem to forget about so it brings you edd back a day.)

a nurse worked out my dates like that but the doc changed them back, what they do is they would take the day of your last af 29 and add 7days and 9months. Its just another way of calculating it although i was glad my doc used the wheel thing and changed them back.

My LMP was 18th July, I ovulated on 30th July, which I know from OPK's and BBT charting. This makes me 9 + 3. With a due date of 21st April.

When I saw my GP, he used the wheel and my LMP along with cycle length to get 27th April, which would only make me 8 + 4.

The wheel assumes a regular 28 day cycle with an ovulation day at day 14. In reality this is never accurate, so I would go with your worked out date until your dating scan, which is better than the wheel. They also then add and minus days depending on your usual cycle length.

I know I ovulate earlier than day 14, usually between day 11 and day 13, with a 15 day LP. my cycle therefore varies from 26-28 days.

My midwife is using my ovulation based date, as she knows this is more accurate, all it does is to add 2 weeks before you ovulated and use that as last LMP date instead.

yes i no my LMP was 23/07/11 so I'll be 9 weeks on Saturday EDD 28/04/12. But the doctor has me as EDD 01/01/12,,I'm gonna go with that though as I seem to ovulate later anyway lol
