LO gone off milk

DD1 never finishes a bottle anymore. She has 7oz bottles, three times a day but will only drink 3/4 oz, sometimes only 2! Ive tried to reduce her solids feed but she still doesnt drink! Im worried she isnt getting enough nutrients.
Any ideas?

My LO is 6.5 months old, and I've been having feeding issues with her too. I've been to the pediatrician several times, and they say that LO will not starve herself, and don't worry so much. It's really hard not to though! I know that teething can cause them to not want to eat, because sucking can hurt, so they suggested giving her some Tylenol before a bottle to see if that helps. Also, I've had good luck getting her to eat more before a nap when she's drowsy.

I rang my HV cause of the same thing. She said as long as lo has calcium and dairy in her diet then not to worry. She's having more milk again now but she was down to about 9oz a day!

My little girl went off milk at 4 months. Literally would not accept it in a bottle, in a beaker, on a spoon, I tried everything. She just had lots of other calcium sources ie yoghurts cheeses and she is fine now at 15 months. Don't worry too much, its not ideal but not the end of the world xx

DD1 went through this at about 9 months. my mom suggested switching her to cows milk because since she was on "human" food as we call it that her formula started tasting bad to her. so i tried it and she drank a full 10 oz bottle in the matter of minutes rather than the 2 oz of formula she was taking. we never looked back and she has done great ever since. still has two 10oz bottles a day!

human food! My lo did the same. If th won't have it....aside from an Iv drip of formula or bm there's not much you can do. Include dairy in diet and off vitamin drops. If you can hide it in cereal or cooking great he will now tolerate 2 x 7 oz beakers but still nt always have it alla
