Rowan hates being undressed, he screams the place down when you try and change him, he gets really upset and takes a while to calm him down, I don't mind it during the day but at night he wakes for changes and he gets so worked up that it takes ages to settle him again, anyone going through the same or have any advice? :flower:

Alice is the same. I started to sing to her - twinkle, twinkle little star - over and over very quietly. It seems to distract and calm her.
Putting on vests seem to really upset her and then getting the restmof her clothes on can be a nightmare. If she's particularly grumpy I put her in one of the tesco baby boutique vests that do up round the baby and don't go over her head to try and stop the fuss before it starts.
On another note have you checked his clothes for anything that could be scratchy or itchy? I cut out loads of labels because they seem really harsh on the edges

I keep him in sleepsuits mostly as it really helps but as soon as his legs are out he starts crying :( I didn't think about the labels, going to sort through his clothes tomorrow :flower:

could it maybe be too cold in the room for him?? make sure if you completely undress him that the area is ncie and warm, especially now with colder weather starting.

however, I also remember that isla hated getting dressed and undressed at that age and it was just a phase that passed again.

i think they do grow out of this, and then hit my LO's age and decide they dont like clothes being put on!

Try and change him as quickly as possible. LO used to scream but i found if i fussed on it would take sooo much longer it was easier to just quickly get them on or off even though he was crying and then settle him once it was done.
Distraction is also a good one, try giving him a soft toy to hold or distract him with one.
If he has a dummy giving him his dummy whilst undressing him might help. I have to do this now!
