This might be weird but my lo sleeps in a cot in my room. We live on a very busy, noisy road with the window open and lo sleeps through all the noise-police sirens, people shouting, cars hooting etc.
But when I get into bed - silently - she ALWAYS wakes up.
How does she know? I don't make a sound.
It's really weird and I don't know how to stop disturbing her. When she wakes she cries and takes ages to get back off.
She doesn't have anywhere else to sleep yet so she has to be in with me.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Same here, I always go to bed at different times. He will wake up as soon as I get into bed. Whether its 9 or 2am. We live near student flats and sometimes the noise outside is horrible. I sometimes. X

It's amazing how tuned in babies are. I'm afraid the only way we solved it was by moving out of his nursery. Touch wood, lo has slept better. I think between my tossing and turning and dhs snoring, we used to disturb lo through the night. X

We are gOing to put our LO in his own room soon but If I'm honest I'm putting I off coz I love having him next to me, my other half works nights an gets in at about 3/4am so LO wakes up then as well x

I wish lo had her own room but she won't until we move!
Poor thing, I'm sure we would all sleep better if she did.

My LO does this too and he's in his own room! I can guarantee that by the time i've got into bed and laid down he'll start crying no matter what time it is.
