My DD has had a cold for the last three days. She's pretty bunged up, and seems to be bringing up more spit than usual when she feeds, which I think is all the muscus she's swallowing.

Tonight she woke up crying about an hour after she'd been to sleep, and when I went in she started being sick. It wasn't loads and she settled pretty quickly afterwards.

Has this happened to anyone else? I'm just checking before I drag her out of bed to the hospital. I'm sure it's probably normal but I'm just worried.

hmmm is she coughing any at all?
My doctor told me the best way to clear it up is to use a humidifier at night, alone with baby vicks vapor rub on the chest, suction out the nose and use saline mist. Alternate tylenol and motrin every 4-6 hrs. Do this for about a week and it should clear up. If it doesnt then take lo in and the doctor will prescribe her something. Don't worry my poor little fella has been going through this off and on for the past month. But there isnt really much a doctor can give to a baby. Just follow that routine and she should be fine. :) Hope this helps!

Mine Lo has a cold and has been very snotty and in bed a few nights ago he did his first solid food projectile vomit!! He hasn't shown any signs of anything other than a cold and definitely not an upset tummy. I've out it down to the mucus under his dinner, plus he was quite active before going to bed.
