sorry this is so late, has been so lovely and busy settling into a routine with the new little one that I've not had a lot of time for much else.
love and congratz to everyone who has had their babies in my absence!
Well after going overdue I was induced on day number 12. went into the hospital in the morning and had my waters broken for me at 11:30am, Wasn't painful at all and I was really excited that something was finally going to be happening.
By 2pm not a lot was going on, just somer mild period type pains, I was put on a drip to get my contractions coming fast and strong.
Gas and air became my best friend for the next few hours
By 8:20pm contractions were thick and strong and didn't have any relax time in between, Midwife gave me an internal (first one since my water breakage) and told me baby was right there and to try a little push.
Did as I was told and pushed while she turned around to sort out paperwork, she turned back around and told me to stop because she wasn't ready but too late baby was on his way.
One push later and out popped my little man and he was put onto my tummy.
Welcome to the world Logan Adam weighing in at 9lbs 6ozs.
no stiches needed and one perfect baby later I was on my way home the following morning to introduce Logan to his big brothers.
Would do it all again in a heartbeat.
