Looking for someone sensible...

Hi all,
I'm pretty new here. I need someone to talk me down or hold me back...

We are trying to TTC #2. After a miscarriage in July I am having my first cycle which I have some really positive symptoms. But I am only approx 9dpo, I've already tested at 8dpo and got but I know it's too early
I am at 9dpo/10dpo the moment and I'm desperate to test. Someone talk some sense into me please?!?

i just tested and im 9 dpo...bfn

if you test and its negative your still going to think theres a chance so dont help in anyway..

and if a posittive - it most likely be light this early and you wont believe it anyway, and you will keep convincing yourself its evap line etc etc...

so wait 2 more days and get a decent answer

i been told that mot women implant at 9dpo give bubba chance to grow lol

Ah, yes. But in the TWW area you're less likely to laugh at me for testing early

Aww keep your head up its early early still I'd honestly try and wait until 12 dpo for a good result Bless your heart I hope you have your BFP very very soon

we are all right there with you and the temptation to test early is so strong ...I crumbled too and tested but im praying that when i test at the weekend for a , so i will keep my fingers crossed for you

I always test too early but if you can hold off then do. Distraction is the only thing that works for me as my willpower is terrible! x

I've been testing every single day. It's so hard NOT to, yet still disappointing to see that even when you know it's too early!

It's always tough waiting to test... we are woman, so of course, we want to know NOW! lol.

BUT... because I learned my lesson the "hard way" (more than once taking a test a bit early)-- from now on I wait till AF is late or at least the day she is due... since then, I haven't had to take a preg test because AF has arrived on time or early. Which sucks- but a bit easier to take than seeing another BFN. When I tested early and got a BFN-- I would drive myself nuts for the few days I had to wait around to see if AF would show...then I got disappointed all over again when she did!!! lol. So I decided I'd had enough of that! haha.

Figure out what is best for your own mental state- hehe- but know we all go a bit nuts in the TWW... it's totally normal For me, personally, I have to wait to test- even against the advice of some of my close friends- lol. But that's me. Everyone has to determine their own path.

I feel your pain, I'm symptom spotting way too much. I'm also 9dpo, tested this morning bfn then evap after time was up. SO, I'm going to TRY and wait until Friday AM. It sucks! I'm right along with you to you all and wishes

Of course hun... catch!!! hehe It's always that 2nd week which is the hardest... honestly, I'm not saying I don't think about it daily! haha... but I just know that for me, I have to wait else drive myself even more nuts! Just find something positive to focus on and keep busy!!! That helps

Not sure if this helps- but recently I found out what my Luteal phase was on average, so I now know for sure when AF would be considered "late" for me (as my full cycles can vary between 26-31 days)-
I guess just having that info makes it a bit easier to wait- not sure why? lol, but whatever helps

You're right though...there's the daily disappointment of the BFN, then when comes, another disappointment
