This will be my last post so sorry if I'm annoying everyone by asking a million questions!

But I took a ic test stupidly this morning and the line is faint they were never dark but they weren't faint I knew I shouldn't of tested!

Has this happened to anyone else?

lauren dear please please stop testing, there are too many variables, if you really want piece of mind test in about 3 days time where you will notice a big change in line darkness...no chemical unless theres a AF bleed chicken f'xd for you xxxxx

I took one test this time as with my m/c they never seem to get any darker. I was convinced what ever will be will be this time regardless what happens. My m/c time came and went, saw a heart beat at 9 weeks so just keep calm, breath and relax. Stress isn't good after all.

I noticed with the cheapies, the dye amount in them varied greatly from test to test, even in the same lot...and the color did too, some were pinkish, some more purple...i wouldnt go by that by itself, since they are, in fact, cheapies and mass produced, etc so they all meet a certain standard, but some could be more dye, some could be just above the set amount...i stopped testing on my "official" test date that the dr gave me, since i got my nice dark lines on my frer, and i havent tested since, just relying on the blood draws and then my scan at about 7 weeks on the 26th! i think that testing over and over once you get the bfp makes you crazy, for the reasons above... i know that it is hard to keep from doing, since we are all worried about the little bean sticking and holding on, but ive decided to relax and try not to think about it so much myself...

In June, I got a positive pregnancy test that was very faint at about 14 dpo. I tested 4 times total, every other day. The tests were only slightly darker each time but I was still worried and posted on here with pics, everyone said it looked fine. That pregnancy ended in a miscarriage but when I was researching threads about the darkness of pregnancy lines, many turned out fine! There's just no way of knowing without a blood test. When I did have a blood test, my number was only 24. That's when I knew the pregnancy was over, I had known I was pregnant for over a week so 24 didn't make sense.

I am now pregnant again and have tested twice. The first test was okay, a bit faint. I tested again 6 days later and it was darker than the control. I went in for bloodwork the next day and my number went from 245 to 911. It's crazy how different each pregnancy can be, and without bloodwork it's just a nerve wracking guessing game! I hope you can get it done soon for some peace of mind that your bean is growing fine.

Huni i think your fine but please stop testing. Lines fade as more hormone is produced the tests cant handle it. Unless you bleed, cramp or lose any of you pregnancy symptoms you should be fine. Only a scan will tell you exactly what's happening hun

I'm not having many symptoms so not holding out too much hope! I have a scan booked by my doctor for next Wednesday when il only be 5+3, I have asked many times for blood tests but they don't do them at my doctors or local hospital

I have also an appt scheduled with a specialist so my doctor says, he didn't really tell me what's going to happen with that! I honestly think I have low progesterone :/

But thank you girls, I guess whatever happens... Happens! I just so wish I could have a blood test!!! Xxxx

Yea our docs wont do bloods either and im currently fighting for a scan on 29th. Ive had 2mc between 11 and 13weeks but they said due to me having a scan at 8weeks i don't merit another one on nhs until 20 weeks.

Maybe your peeing more, tired or even have an aversion to a food... Concentrate on the little things Hun, its what's keeping me going

They don't tend to do blood tests unless you are under a FS or high risk for some reason. I agree with the other ladies, constantly taking tests will just continually stress you out. If you're 5+3 next week, are you only 4+3 now? The line will often still be faint and many women don't have any symptoms at all that early. I didn't with either pregnancy apart from AF cramping. Also a scan so early might not be very reassuring because they probably won't be able to see anything - a HB usually isn't detected until after 6w. Hugs to you. It is stressful, but we can't really do anything but wait and trust that things will work out. If they don't, they don't - but worrying ourselves sick about the possibilities will just make us miserable.

Try to enjoy knowing your pregnant. Give yourself a break and relax a little, wait till you can get a couple betas done and see how your numbers look...Don't freak out so early relax and enjoy it for now. What can you do either way if it is a chemical?? but for now your PREGNANT be happy...
