I was going to say, it was probably a twin!! I had the same thing before I even knew I was pregnant with my son!! A HUGE thing came out, then into my pregnancy I looked it up, It was most likely a twin as it looked like imagines I found on the net!! Good luck and Congrats!!

Wow, thats great! Or it could have been a subchorionic bleed thats just bleeding itself out with clots. I have this, though I havent had clots, but I know its common to have clots, even massive clots with a subchorionic hematoma. They usually heal on their own luckily.
But, I think they would have seen it on ultrasound if thats what it is.
Crazy to think you can bleed and even have big clots, and yet baby is just fine, unphased by all of this!! Good Luck!
