LO's mouth full of blood

DS is 18 months and last night we were playing a game in the bath where he stood up and leant over the side to give me a kiss and then sat back down again. Well, now I feel like the worst Mummy in the world because he slipped and fell and caught his top jaw on the side of the bath.

He was bleeding a bit but I could see two puncture wounds on his inside top lip, off to the side, so I thought he's bitten his lip, cuddled him and it stopped bleeding and he stopped crying after only a few minutes.

This morning he's woken up with a mouth full of blood and blood over his pj top and bedding so he's still bleeding from somewhere. Tooth root? He still appears to have all his teeth (well all those he had before) but he won't let me have a proper look in his mouth or lift his lips up, just screams and pushes me away, but he did have a bf this am so it can't hurt him to feed.

Any thoughts? Ideas? Advice? Tia x

Maybe he has cut he tongue? Maybe go to the doctors Hun if it doesn't stop bleeding, my little cut bit her tongue and they was loads if blood in her mouth so I just gave her lots of water and thankfully I could just see enough to see it was a little cut
