LOs toys in livingroom

you know those things that go at the foot of a bed? I forget what they are called. We got one that was part of a childrens wardrobe set we had given to us, its wooden and blue. You're supposed tp put blankets and stuff in it?
I brought it into my living room and filed it with toys. We got some smaller thomas the tank boxes too for smaller toys.
Most stuff end up spread all over the place though :dohh:

I had those plastic storage boxes but whenever i put things in it he pulls them back out again.. plus hes figured out if he drags the box around the room he can use it to climb on higher things  hes too clever sometimes

So now i just throw everything in his playpen, my house is always untidy with toys but i give up caring what people think

He has so many toys its hard to put them away! I have the wooden toy box like toria's in the living room and bedroom. His bigger things are spread across his room, in a neat and tidy fashion I must say :D and I just keep his big alphabet ride-on-train out in the living room, if the visitors dont like it, tough!

We've got a plastic box but it's blue so just looks like a toy box. We've also got a playpen set up in the living room where a lot of his stuff lives.

I got a big wicker basket type thing from Homebase. They have lots of nice ones! I need to get another one though as her toys are making it bulge out of its sides.

i've got a nice basket for mine and it fits just down the side of the sofa which is good, but jack taken a shine to the huggies box so i have some in there to but only cause he likes to sit in the box, but baskets are good cause jacks learnt to take his toys out but not put them back in yet lol

have a kinda wicker basket toy box thing in the hallway and then one corner for the big stuff! she is going for world domination with her toys

Lexie's are on the bottom shelf of her changing unit in the living room.

I don't know what i'm going to do when she starts getting more toys? Yikes!

We have a massive white toy box that my dad made for her. Keeps the toys out the way xx

We actually don't store toys in the living room lol. We allow them to bring a couple out and play but at the end of the day or if it starts getting too messy they have to bring them back to the playroom. In there we have huge plastic tubs for them. We have a really nice home theater system so we don't let it get too cluttered, don't want to scratch anything up or knock a speaker over lol, plus we spend mos tof our time as a family there or with company so we like to keep it as neat as possible lol. But I have seen these things we want to get for their playroom...I don't know if yall have target?

I have Jaspers portacot set up in his room and at the end of the night I dump all his toys in the portacot... and his bouncy play center goes under the table... his blankets and pillows go into a box seat... I wheel his high chair into the spare bedroom and ta-da we have the living room back! (it takes about 3 minutes to hide all evidence of baby)

At the moment, Gabbi's are in her blow up training ring under the coffee table, but we are going to get some boxes, plastic ones. soon. Saw some gorgeous wicker boxes, but they would be dangerous, breaking off, sharp etc, why they are for babies ..... ?

In the new house, we have made a storage place under the stairs, so some will go in there and some in boxes for easy access for Gabbi

This huge box thing but it doesnt seem to be enough :dohh: There are 3 of these scattered around with toys , me thinks i need to do some sorting
