losing weight! what worked for you?

tomorrow is the start of my new eating ragime, im simply planning on cutting out all fizzy drinks chocolate cakes and fast food and not eating after 7pm.

can you tell me what you have done and what has worked for you! xxx :flower:
 
I've been doing weight watchers :)
 
Slimming world works wonders for me. I am never hungry, good variety of foods and cheap and easy to follow :)

it's really about eating healthy, eating the correct portion sizes, and exercising :D

I still eat a lot of the same types of foods I did before (well bar chocolate and sodas!) just smaller portions and lower fat options.

You also get extra weekly points in addition to your daily points and I use these once a week for a cheat day and eat whatever I want (within reason)

others spread those weekly points out through a week
 
No real diet ir diet plan here.

Cut out the bad, keep 'yumm' stuff in moderation.
Drink plenty of water
Swap white carbs for wholemeal
Eat wholegrain stuff, pasta/rice
Keep soduim low
Avoid processed sugars
Eat veg & fruit.

Main thing exercise, is the key in it all.

Calorie count
watch portions
drink lots and lots of water
exercise, even little things like run up and down stairs or walk to the shops ect
dont starve yourself, eat regularly so not to get too hungry :)

Not too much. It can be a bit bloating but I'm a salt freak (I could go years without touching sugar + chocolate) so it's my vice. Lots of water and I'm fine to go. I make hot Korean spicy soups or kale salt & vinegar chips
