Losing weight!

Hiya,
I am just a little worried as I wil be 15 weeks pregnant tomorow and I have not gained any weight and I have lost a few pounds recently. I had no M/S and ive had a great pregnancy so far.

I am overweight so i suppose not gaining weight would seem like a good thing but I just dont know how it will affect my little one.

Has anyone else been through this?

I've only just started to gain weight, a whole 1kg.

Don't worry about it, I think we all spend too much time worrying about weight gain/no gain/loss on this forum.

Hi hun,
I am overweight too (size 18-20) and up until last week had not gained any at all, now I am 20 weeks and have gained 2 pounds.
The hospital told me that it was quite likely I wouldn't put on much weight while pg if I was careful and not stuffed my face, as my body already has all the fat stores it needs!
Dont be worried, just think of it asa good thing! I'm sure I'll start to pile it on now that I have put on those couple of pounds!

i was loosing weight at first, and my ob gyn told me it s normal. then all of a sudden i gained 5kg.
so i don t think u should worry about it

Been there!! I was so worried because I had lost weight and wasnt gaining it back. Now I have gained 9lbs. I think it just depends on the person. I wouldnt worry about it, not unless your MW or Doctor say anything about it.

I lost weight until week 18 and then this past week I gained 5lbs. I haven't even changed my excersice or eating habits at all. Don't worry about it you body will gain when it needs to.

I am going through it now! I am plus size (24) and have not gained any pounds... in fact I have lost some. I think it comes from changing my diet as far as cutting out sodas, deli meat along with not really wanting sweets.

I do have a question for you Carla... I am also 15 weeks... HAve you started showing yet?
