Low hcg of 42 at 3 weeks :(

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Little Bean on 12/13/14 and I know your pain. That piece of your heart will always be missing. Although I had a spontaneous miscarriage and lost the baby naturally, chromosomal abnormalities are the most common reason for a miscarriage, so although mine was not diagnosed, if I had to guess, it was something like trisomy 16. There's no need to consult a specialist yet (usually I believe it's after 3 consecutive miscarriages b/c miscarriage is actually much more common, unfortunately, than we even know). I lost my Little Bean in Decemember 2014 and got my next BFP at the end of May 2015. I went on to have a very healthy rainbow baby this past February. Sending you healing wishes and much baby dust!

Thank you! I miscarried twice...for the first one it was not diagnosed. The doctor didn't seem alarm today but its so stressful that something might be wrong...will try my best to stay positive!

I am so sorry for your losses. I lost two babies, one mmc and one early loss at 6 weeks, but now I have two healthy boys. They say that two miscarriages in a row in no way increases your chances for having a third. And I am amazed at how many women I now know that have similar stories of losing two before a healthy baby. Even my sister in law!

I had several tests run after my second to see if anything was wrong (all came back fine), and was about to have a hysterosalpingogram when I found out I was pregnant with my now almost three year old. I don't know the causes of my miscarriages but they say chromosomal abnormalities are the number 1 cause and of those I believe trisomy 16 is the most common. So hopefully that means nothing is "wrong" and you will go on to have healthy babies :)

You are in my prayers. I know the sadness you are feeling, but there is lots of hope.
