Has anyone else been suffering from a low potassium issue? I've been hospitalized 2 times for low potassium. My level was 2.4 and 2.7 when I was hospitalized. I was curious of other people's experiences with low potassium? I've rarely heard of potassium that keeps declining like mine .
Low potassium (hypokalemia) refers to a lower than normal level of potassium in your bloodstream. Potassium is a chemical (electrolyte) that is critical to the proper functioning of nerve and muscles cells, particularly heart muscle cells.
