Lower back pain on left side - possible ovulation sign??

Ok so im on CD12 today and on and off all day since early this morning i have had back pain on the left hand side and down low. I am leaning towards thinking its possible ovluation pain and that i will ovluate in a day or so, but just wanted to know whether anyone else has experienced this and knows what it is.
