ive just fell in love with it :D please tell me its good? im looking for something that folds up quite small for my car it looks perfect! would appreciate any comments from any1 who has it thanks!

I have the Luna Mix and LOVE it!!

What type of car do you have? It does fold up pretty small but it is wide when folded and it just about squeezes into the boot of my grans corsa because of the back wheels (they're pretty wide!) but it does slide quite neatly behind the seats in the back when the full boot is needed!lol

thanks! i have a ford ka so has small boot space. might have to measure my boot and look at the luna in the pramcentre to make sure it will fit. i was going to get a lightweight stroller but they just dont look comfy and supportive enough for an 8 month old. the luna mix looks as though it will last him a while too. i love the look of it!

It's my favourite pram and if it had of been around when I was pregnant I DEFINATELY would have went for it

I would measure the width of the boot against the width of the back wheels when folded :flower: Or depending on the height of the boot it could sit upright against the back of it! Or get staff to carry it out to your car and test it in the boot itself !lol

But I do reccomend it! It's so lovely and cosy looking and will last LO (he's nearly 1) ages and ages still because the seat unit is wide and it keeps me entertained buying new accessories for it :haha:

:flower: youve convinced me now lol :) yeah thats a good idea. hopefully my local pram shop stocks it so i can try fit it in my car. my big pram shop isnt drivable. well not to me anyway lol xx

I also had the luna and loved it!!! I have been thru 5 prams with my LO's and the luna won by far! So easy to push! x

I had the old Luna Cress (basically, the same as the luna mix). When it came to putting my newborn baby in, I was very confused, because the straps where miles too big on my baby, even on their smallest settings.

I looked through the manual to that came with it, to see if I was doing something wrong, only to be shocked to see warnings that it was made for 6+ months! The pram was sold to me as suitable from birth, and I googled and lots of people online had been using it from birth.

I took it back to the shop to get a refund, and the shop assistant told me apparently, it's not suitable from birth unless you use the car seat with it, which isn't what they told me when I bought it at all! She went to get her manager so he could issue a refund, and he came back and had the cheek to tell me that the warnings in the manual were a misprint, and that a newborn baby shouldn't be wearing straps!

I was so shocked, and angry that they could be telling new parents something as clearly dangerous as that. I fought for a refund and eventually got it (because there was noway I was putting my baby in that pram, especially if she really was meant to go sans straps).

The Luna Mix is pretty much exactly the same as the old one, and in my opinion, even if the straps had fit my baby, it didn't look very comfortable. I'm sure it's great for an older baby though, and looking at your sig I see yours is. :D I found it easy to put up and and down, and it was very compact when folded. It was great to look at, and pushing it was a dream! The only prob was that the fabric touched the ground when you folded it which made it dirty, but I'm not sure if this is still a problem with the newer luna mix.

I won't ever be buying something like that from Mamas and Papas again though. Be warned that their customer service is utter shit.

There are a lot of bad reviews about it BUT,

I got one this week and I love it.
Very easy to push, Jake looks very comfy in it with the liner.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.
I have the one in Cress colour.
Would highly recommend!

We have the Luna Mix (black with Orchid hood) and we all love it.
We put Alice in it without the carseat at 2days old and she was secure.
The handle is adjustable which is excellent as I'm only 4ft 11" and my oh is taller.
We have a vectra so boot space isn't an issue for us but we've been out with sil and it fitted into the boot of her Ka fine.
I saw a few bad reviews before we got it but they were for the old version (grey plastic) but we have the new one (black plastic) and havent had a problem. My friend and sister are both impressed with it - they have spent a fortune on various pushchairs and prams and both have commented how easy it is to push.

Just to add I have the one with grey plastic and it's been fine for me :)
No problems at all.
I can see how it would tip if you're silly enough to put loads of bags on the back of it. :)

I completely agree - got nothing to do with the pushchair if you try to put the weekly shop on the back!

Yup lol! So many people I know go on about how their pushchair is rubbish when they've just done a £40 shop and shoved it all over the handles.

So stupid :dohh:!! The luna is a stroller, it's not made for industrial usage lol!

I'm thinking about buying one as the pram I have is quite big for trailing about for days out etc, fine for use out and about at home etc. Does the luna fold up without the seat part having to be removed from the chassis?

Yay!!!! I'm gunna buy it and hide it from my husband!! lol

thanks for all the comments! it sounds great. i was a bit put off by the bad reviews but i thought the reasons for the bad reviews were a bit daft, the tipping etc. im defo going to have a look now and hopefully get it :D i love pram shopping, i can see why some people have bought so many lol xx

Hi, my baby girl is 23 days old now and we had bought the Luna Mix in Cress with the vintage rose hood and liners. The pram is easy to fold down and put up...although the fabric does touch the floor when you fold it down. Its really easy and light to steer (I have the 3 wheeled one). The luggage bit at the bottom isnt very big and just holds the changing bag and the rain cover. We've got a Volvo c30 and its got a tiny, tiny boot..but it fits nicely into it. I've had my LO in both the car seat and buggy lying flat with the straps on and she seems fine. I feel that she could be a little crunched over when she's in the car seat. Hope this all helps

Yeah do be careful folding it down if you do get one hun. As it touches the floor, major error lol!

I kind of lift it up to fold it, you'll see what I mean!!x

I have the new style luna mix and I love it! I agree with the fabric touching the floor was the only thing for me, but it can be avoided I guess lol.

I'm only selling it because at the time I bought it my car was off the road and now it isnt so it doesnt get used and I got a stroller in the boot of my car that I use
