Mamas and Papas Skate anyone?

Hi ladies, has anyone got a Mamas and Papas Skate? Ive just won one on eBay, but after looking into it a bit more(too late) Ive noticed the seat unit doesnt look all that big, and a few ppl are selling them cos there LO is too big for it, Im now thinking Lyla is gonna be too big for it too

Im going to a Mamas and Papas store this morning to collect my Luna Mix thats been repaired so Ill have a look while Im there x

My friend has one and its a big bulky pram! Heavy too, but really nice.

I have one and it is now a very heavy pram. It isnt too samll for my lo who is 18 months but wears 2-3 clothes and is on the 90 percentile

I would say getting it now maybe not such a great idea. Personally i am very happy with it. Its great in shops and its great outdoors. But ive had 18 months use out of it and have thought about getting rid for something lighter a couple of times now. But remain very attached to it.

Also what car do you drive as it wont fit easily into anything?

I hated mine! seat is very small,and baby felt like this was going to tip out when i went up a kerb!

Ive got an Astra, its quite a big boot, Ive had a Quinny Buzz in it and also an iCandy Apple in it, both quite big bulky pushchairs, and thats the reason i changed from them, so maybe the Skate isnt such a good idea, Ive already won it tho looks like I'll have to send a grovelling message to the seller x

I absolutely hated mine. I found it really heavy, particularly once LO got bigger. At 6 months we got a Luna but used the Skate as the main pram, but a few months ago we bought a M&P Sola to replace ths Skate, which is much, much better.
