Mamas & Papas cotbed - what mattress??

Our mamas and papas Fern nursery set was finally ready and collected by us last week (on order for just under 3 months!)

Now the mattress choice..............

Do all you other M&P cotbed owners have M&P mattresses??

They are a silly size 139 x 69 instead of the normal 140 x 70!

Sure a standard size will do, and gives us much more choice but wanted to ask the question here first.

Want a pocket sprung version ideally, which is £145 via M&P. Be cool if we could get something better specced and cheaper elsewhere!

i wonder this too as Ive bought a mamas and papas cotbed too. My furniture is coming next week, but I can't put it all together until the room is painted and the carpet is cleaned!!! I haven't bought my mattress yet as I was hoping to get one on sale not from mamas and papas. I've read that no matter what there can be no more than a 1 inch gap between the mattress and the bars? I think that was what it was.

Hi my sister had a mamas and papas cotbed. I have bought one too and she said to me to definetly get the mamas and papas mattress to go with it. She said she tried one I think from mothercare and didn't like it because it didn't fit snuggly. So I personally will just get mine straight from mamas and papas. The one i'm going to get was £145 so must be the same one. x

I got mine brand new from ebay. I just typed the mamas and papas mattress size I needed and have ended up with a 'Spring Interior Mattress Size 300 Fit Mamas and Papas' for £45.00 (including postage) form a ebay shop called 'prams4729'

If you look on the mamas and papas site and then the cot you have, it should tell you what size you need
