man flu! hes off to bed!!!

Grrr I am so mad with OH right now!!

Usually the deal is I feed LO put her to bed and he does the midnight feed, I get everyone up in the morning.

But, Son came back after 2 days at school with a cold and now OH who rarely gets sick has man flu.

I was up at 3am lastnight being sick (not sure if it was this bug or dodgy chinese). Still managed to get up and son off to school on time (granted OH had to iron his own shirt).
Son is still full of the cold so has been grumpy, Iv had that to deal with. It's been too hot to do anything.

Now LO was fed just as OH got back but she was sick ALL over me and had a bit more milk then went to sleep. But was awake an hour or so later and I asked OH to do it so I could go out and get tea.


Now despite me telling him I feel sick again and have to get up even earlier tomo cos I have to make sure LO fed before I go (she often sleep til its time to go then sleep in buggy til we get back) because she has her jabs tomorrow.

He says he will get up and do the morning feed but he is a complete pain in the butt to get out of bed until he wants/has to!

I am fuming because he is being selfis and also because he has gone off to bed leaving me in a bad mood!

I am half tempted to go and feed LO now to make sure she wakes up then I will lick him out of bed!!

Thats the difference between us and men, even if we are poorly we just suck it up and get on with it

my hubby came home from work yesterday... had his dinner (which was ready for him), we bathed LO, then he went on the computer for ages and then fell asleep on the sofa!... I put LO to bed at 8pm and when hubby woke up he complained that he had hardly seen LO today..!!

I can't be bothered to get arsed! takes too much energy and doesn't change anything...

Next time he tells me to do the night feed and he will do the morning I will be telling him where to go!
He was a pain in the bum this morning I am glad I got school stuff and ironed his shirt lastnight I ended up getting up for the morning feed aswell! after 4 hours of sleep while he just stayed in bed another half hour.

He's away for the weekend Im gonna be so shattered! I have no idea how you single mums cope with no sleep!

This is why we have the babies!
OH had a week off last and OMG was I glad to be shot of him.
MY routine out the window. Plan was for me to have some ME time and to take our 6yr old out.
He couldnt cope.
How do I bath her?
Is the bottle right temp?
How does bottle work (dr browns)
How do I swaddle her?
How does the car seat attach to buggy?
Why isnt she going to sleep? (hmmm..overtired an hour ago?!)

From day one I have done every night feed, even the nasty first two weeks.
He has to go to work dont you know!!
Nevermind before the baby he would play fifa until 1am and get up at 6am.
Now in bed at 10pm and up for 6am.
But he is too tired...!
I just had a yucky cold and gave it to LO but did he offer to do her last feed at 10.30pm and put her to bed? NO!!
Grrr!
