    Hi all...just a quick question really
    as i am not currently working im entitled to MA allowance and was told to send off for it at 25/26 weeks...
    so iv sent the form off and just wondered if any1 else gets this and how long does it take befor it starts getting paid into your bank?

    I think MA comes under the same timescales as SMP....so it will start at 29 weeks for a 26 week period.

    depends on when they process it as to when you start to be paid though. Hope you get some news soon.

    You'll start getting it after 29wks i think and its paid for 39wks. Not sure how long it'll take to get paid into your bank though, their not the quickest at sorting things out!!

    Sorry is it 39 weeks...thought it was just 26. 39 even better!!
