i'm just wondering if i could give them a ring and they'd be able to tell me how far it's progressing.

you are waiting for paymnet arent you rather than for it to be approved? Yes bugger it I would call - why not eh the worst they can say is 'we dont know' also if they have posted you anything it could take forever to get to you xxx

They actually called me yesterday to tell me that I hadn't completed my bank details on the form hahaha!!! She was really nice and now at least I know they have the forms and it is being processed x x x

Yep, definately ring them, I rang them to chase mine and they were really nice. If they haven't had it very long all they will do is confirm they've received the forms but at least you'll know that things are moving.
