Hi there, Is there anyone here from south west wales and if so where do you get your maternity clothes from? I went to Fforest Fach and Parc Tawi and Carmarthen and come home with absolutly nothing. I know I can buy online but I like to try stuff on.

im not frm wales but you can try, dorothy perkins, newlook and river island and next :)

We have all those down here but none of the shops carry the maternity collection down here.

Morfa. Peacocks and newlook do maternity there. That's where I got mine from.x

I'm in Barry but I have found it so hard to get clothes. Mamas and papas is lovely but expensive. They have sales sometimes though. Their stuff is lovely though
a lot of the stuff in dp is really bland when I have ordered it
debenhams red herring do a range and mothercare in the bigger stores

Im from ammanford, and I find it hard too. They dont stock much in shops down this way, and I like to try it on before buying it so internet shopping is not really my cup of tea for clothes :S

My mum tried Llanelli mothercare and they had two tops and one pair of jeans all in a size 10...good range

The thing is I was up in cardiff a couple of weeks ago and popped into mothercare whole shop of clothes really and then mamas and papas which was fab but I did not really have time to shop wish I had now!!

We have all those down here but none of the shops carry the maternity collection down here.

The Dprothy Perkins in Swansea does, well some of it anyway - dont bother with the New Look in the middle of town - its pants, the Forest Ffach one is much better. The Mothercare in Parc Tawe probably has the widest range. I was in there yesterday. Debenhams in Swansea also some of the Red Herring Range too. Though I found that very dull - all grey black and white unless you wanted T-shirt

Frankly I think thats it!

Hmmmmm - a business opportunity girls?
Mind when my sister was pregnant with her first 9 years ago it was Mothercare or nothing - I was buying stuff in DP's in Bristol and sending it to her!

I feel like my fashion sense has been ripped away from me!!
I normally wear jeans, Punky t shirts and funky Jackets
to go out I always have something a little bit rock chick on...
and I am obsessed by anything that looks a little "vivienne westwood"
there are no maternity clothes like that!
Mamas and papas has a really cute westwardy style dress tunic thing
I tried it on and I looked like a short fat tramp! lol
I may try it on again with a top and leggings underneath now I have a defined bump

or you could take a trip over the river and come to Cabot Circus in Bristol perhaps...
Failing that all those high street stores are online too...

good thinking beccy, what size do they go upto in that shop in bristol?

Cabot Circus has Next, Dotty P's, Debenhams and New Look etc... I know New Look goes up to at least size 20, I think the others do too... I'm a 16/18 and I've not had a problem in these so far but I've not bought much more than a couple of pairs of Jeans at the mo'.

Oh I forgot - there is a Mammas&Pappas outlet shop in the MacArthur Glen Bridgend outlet village. Its not huge (to say the least) but it did have some maternity clothes. (Oh and the babygap stuff in the gap shop is LUSH!)

No where round us has a proper collection in the shops though
