ahh girls,

silly pointless thread but im sick of looking grouse..lol...last pregnancy i was young and got away with jogging bottoms and horrible clothes... i really wanted this time to be different and i wanted to look like a yummy mummy.... why are all the maternity clothes disgusting..lol...

what are all you lot wearing??

xx

I LOVED my skinny jeans from Topshop. They were lovely & fitted right until the last month :) I bought smock kind of tops & wore them with skinny jeans & leggings/jeggings.
Lived in my leggings/jeggings too as they were so so comfy.
Skinny jeans were expensive but well worth it as I def got my wear out of them!xx

i dont look very nice atm tbh. lol. i have a bad taste in fashion, i'm honestly clueless. i've got some maternity jeggings, maternity jeans, and some linen trousers and thats about it. i've seen some lovely stuff on new look and even asda has some nice maternity clothes really cheap, might be worth having a look. xx

im 5'10'' and desperate to get into leggings but cant find anything for this season long enough to cover my bum!! I am wearing bootcut dark jeans from Topshop with t shirts and long cardigans. I am wearing comfy boots with a bit of a heel (nothing too narrow) from Clarks, I find it easier to walk with that lil bit of height sometimes....plus stops my thighs creating enough static electricity to heat small country for the winter:rofl:

I have brought skinny jeans as live in them anyway.. so invested in maternity ones...they seem tot hink just coz our bums and bellys are big that our shins are gonna be big..lol.. there just not skinny....

ill have a look in asda didnt really think about there... im also clueless and just have no fashion taste either and cant put clothes together..lol..

thanks girls..xx

Atm, I'm just wearing everything that is comfortable....Leggins, jogging bottoms and my PJ's lol! Jeans for me are a BIG NO NO! I need to get my self some maternity ones I think as my normal jeans feel SO tight and horrible!

I have offically ran out of clothes that fit me, esp trousers i have one pair of maternity trousers which are for work and they are a bit saggy around the arse. Its horrific, i look like a right state, Off to Ebay to find some bargains i think :dohh:

I managed to get a couple of things in the Next sale when it was on. Got skinny jeans, a jumper/dress thing which looks great with leggings and boots and a top/waistcoat/scarf combo. They were all half price so didn't grudge buying them.

I also got a few things in Mothercare and my sister has given me all her maternity clothes (some of which were mine from when I had DS!!). Matalan do a maternity range as well and I got my leggings and a really nice white shirt for work from it. Reasonable prices as well.

The only thing I grudge buying in maternity is pj's - I just went to Primark and got them in a bigger size. Got 2 pairs of REALLY comfy pj's for £14. They'll also do me when bubs has arrived as will definitely still have a jelly belly (the only thing I hate about pregnancy!)

GIRLS...you do not have to to look discusting whilst pregnant...I refuse to do so ...I know that some of you said that you are clueless but you can just look at some of the ideas in Pregnant magazines or on the maternatity clothe websites for ideas. I have a very eccletic style..sort of rockabilly. 50's and punkrock...haha does that make sense..thats the only way I can explain it ..well thats how my sister explains it! Anyway I was also never a skinny girl so its a bit harder even still...If I can find cool looing clothes then you lot should have no problems at all..
Next is wonderful for finding clothese that mimic your normal clothese and that extra room. I have skinny jeans from Next, aslo a loads of dresses from there. Some maternaty and some are just a dress that are stretchy style in the belly area..I also bought them a size up so I got heaps of room to gro..and it still fits lovely...
Also try wearing the dresses that are long slim fit ones..with skinny jeans..wear it as a shirt..as it will give you loads of room to cover the bump and stretch over it as well when you buy one size bigger. Also mothercare has some items you may like.they dont really have my style but I have seen some things that are nice looking.
hope this helps.

you should try new look :)
i bought maternity jeggins, leggins, long tops and jumpers from there to last me throughout my pregnancy and i love them.

i bought them when i was a little to small to wear them though and they were so nice that i couldnt wait to fit into them! lol

its best to order offline with new look though as in the shop they rarely have the full range. Good luck to you :)
dont worry its not impossible xxx

Jeggings & leggings. I can't fit into my jeans anymore and i'm only 12 weeks! Neither can my SIL whose 11 weeks so we both live in leggings & long tops work for now. :) Will have to think of something warmer for winter.

I have skinny jeans from newlook with t-shirts and shirts with waterfall cardigans
and calf length flat boots. x

Try H&M or Esprit. Not too bad. Also affordable.

I am going to have to go on a shopping trip soon, ruined 2 pairs of leggings painting last week!!!
