Maternity Leave can you come sooner ?

I really cant wait !
My job is dragging and is getting stressful... 2 more weeks ! A lot of people has told me that is good to wait until the end of the pregnancy but I seriously need a brake from work..

Anybody else going on leave soon?

My leave starts Oct 4, which will probably be my induction date

I worked to the very end with DD1 (was literally on my laptop at home finishing up some charts while having contractions). But with DD2 and now this LO, I just cannot concentrate!

I've been ready for leave for over a month Luckily my boss is pretty understanding and has really lightened my load, but just being here makes me cranky. Is there any way you can get a lighter load or possibly work from home for the next 2 weeks? That can help

My doc is signing me off work 5 weeks before my due date. 1- because daughter was born early 2- to make sure I get time to rest before going into labor.

I was going to argue about it and try to stay at work another 3 weeks, but F-it! I'm looking forward to the time. As long as disability is paying I'm taking advantage.

I'm just staying because of the money.. But I'm so ready to leave.

The person that is going to replace me and I don't get along very well and is so stressful, and I just don't care anymore, I want to be relax for my baby.

I don't think they will allow me to work from home. I would quit but I cant afford to do that.

I have 4 days left, and I can hardly wait!!! These last two weeks are dragging! I'm due nov 1 so it will be nice to have a little me time to destress and prepare 4 baby! You are so close! Hang in there

I am finishing up early at 35wks this time, last time I worked til 38wks.

I am finishing earlier this time as it just works well with the school holidays etc.

I am counting down the days too - just 10 working days for me!!!! And 2 of them will be half-days as I have appointments!!

Good grief - I just had a total meltdown in a meeting Full on pregnancy hormones - I started to get tears at one point... And I have no f'ing idea what I am upset about!

But I was very passionate in my statements that something was wrong and that we were headed for disaster... Good lord, I have got to get out of here before everyone is sure that I'm crazy or incompetent or both

im leaving at 31 weeks i work in a nursery and struggling already can be very stressful at times i get a month and half full pay then half for 7 months.
