Maternity leave

when are you guys taking mat leave?

I'm not too sure when is good to take it, i don't wanna work until the very end but i also don't want to stop too soon.

I'm hoping to work as late as possible and go back as soon as possible but that's depending on baby allowing me to LOL . If I were you I would just take it as it comes xxx

I took mine at 30 weeks and i had two weeks holiday to take before that so i left at 28 weeks which is quite early but i was sick to death of getting up early every morning when i was KNACKERED and i knew i wasn't going back anyway so it didn't matter to me how early i would have to go back once mat leave was over. Do what you feel is best x

im not taking maternity leave from school until i pop
Once im in labour thats my maternity leave starting hha

I started mine at 35 weeks 3 days. I was planning on going up til my 39th week but it's too hard on my body. I can't ever breathe and my back KILLS me. I kinda miss work though. I'm so bored at home waiting for the baby.

I didn't go on maternity leave until I was induced at 40w2d. Mat leave here in the US is really short (usually only 6-8 weeks) so I wanted to spend all the time with my LO that I could. I'm glad I did.

I went at 38 weeks. Mainly so I could have more time off after LO was born.
