hello ladies, i was just wondering what maternity pads you used and how you rated them

i have 2 pks of asda's own to start up my stash for my hospital bag, did anybody else use these, i was looking in mothercase at 6 pounds for a pack seems a bit ott

I couldn't find any in ASDA so got the Boots ones. They did the job, no leakage!! I have now gone onto just day towels from ASDA now as the bleeding has slowed right down :flower:

asda ones were best for me, buy lots tho!!!! U need more than u think x

i had mothercare ones for hospital then ran out and had boots
goota say my mothercare ones were bigger and more absorbant. they had wings and aloe vera :D

brill thanks, the MW said two packs for hospital, so will have another 10 at home on standby, as i am sure i can send OH out as asda is a 10min walk for us

I used boots ones. As it's tailing off I'm using Always Night pads

I really really rate the mothercare ones with the wings. If u can get any with wings theyre a lot more comfy with them being bulkier.

The ones I had from mothercare were the ones with aloe too which were nice and they do a big pack and you will be surprised how many you need so it's worth having too many. My h/v also said that your first period is sometimes quite heavy too so I might keep what I have left over for then xx

I used Tesco's own make this time around. They did the job but did scrunch up a little bit. They were very absorbent though. Can't remember which ones I used last time.

i got the asda ones too but buy a truck full cus u will need them! lol xx

thanks so much, i suffer with heavy periods anyway so always have over stock.......

i suffered several MC's and was amazed at the blood loss so have myself well gear up to be like a waterfall for several weeks

i used tescos and wilkinsons pads and never had any problems with them. i certainly wouldnt pay £6 for a pack. think most i paid was £1 for 10

I used ones from Boots, Tesco and Asda and I found the Boots ones to be the best. They just felt softer and more comfy iyswim and I would def buy them again next time.

Asda little angels yes yes yes! Although I bought 4 packs and only got through 3 and went onto always night, now 2 and half weeks on, nothing :)

I uses Tesco mum pads, they were great. Then brought some waitrose ones and they irritated the hell out of my stitches.

I had 3 packs of the big brick sized ones :haha:
Then moved onto always nightime pads, they were fine after a week or so.

Mothercare one for the first week, three packs of them I loved the wings. Then boots for two weeks (still needed the cushioning).

Mothercare ones with wings are amazing, I never leaked with them after a couple days I moved over to always nite time pads

My honest opinion/ They were all rubbish the hospital ones were long and wide and I couldn't find any in shops that came close, so I knicked loads from the hospital lol

asdas are fine. i bought mothercare 48pks tho as u need loads n it was easier then buying several small packs. i wear 2 at a time (side by side)
