I find I'm really funny with boys names - there's plenty of girls names I like but boys just seem either too common or too...I dunno, not for me I guess.
I'm pretty certain already that if I have a boy I'll be calling him Roxas, which isn't even listed on most baby name sites! But I love it and I think that's gonna be the one.
I was in a class at school with five Emmas! And it was the most popular name when I was born, so maybe that's why I like the unusual names so much.
I would never change my name because it's me but I always thought the my secondary name choice Cyan, suited me a lot more
I go between thoughts of motorcycles and Sarah Palin.
But as said - it is your child - your choice but they have to live with the name. And I think it is a name that conjures up an image and can be alot to live up to.
Definite Republican election vibe from Maverick. It's a no from me.
What about Everett, Warner, Reid, Harley, Remy, Murdoch...? Not sure if you like any of those. Theo is gorgeous if you're still keen on that.
I think, with most names someone is not going to like it much. I know someone who called her little Boy Archie 3 years ago and at the time i thought it was an awful name now it's one of the most popular, and i quite like it!! Times change and names get more or less popular.
Thanks for that link too gonna spend a few hours on that later with OH!!
I like it. Its unusual and different.I think if anything later in life he will thank you for making him stand out from the crowd I dont like my name, never have really, but even though its not unusual (its gina btw) there is only 1 or 2 of us in my hometown and when someone mentioned gina, they knew it was me. Not sure if that was good or bad actually thinking about it!!!
