Hey :flower:

Our lo loves the car and car seat we have never had any issues....until now! He is always lifting his head up and trying to sit up in it and getting really mardi he can't. He hates being restricted so I'm wondering if he finds it a little cocoon like now? We have th base so I have angled the seat right up for him.

Next issue is fit...he is long but nt chunky and I seem to struggle ATM as its like there isn't enough length from the seat to the straps u less the straps are looser but the. They don't fit snug. I can't quite explain this!

He is only 19 lb 7 so too light for next stage just yet anyway. Anyone have these issues or tips? X

Hmmm I'm not sure as I don't have that car seat but the base should never be tipped or angled, it should be level to the ground.. I know our base on our chicco had the bubble level to show where it should be sitting.

I think they just get nosy and active around 7 months and don't want to be confined.. not much you can do about it unfortunately as you still have to go places lol. I just make sure I give him lots of things to play with.. mostly books as he loves to read. Sometimes I can keep his attention with handing him a credit card (a non-important one :haha:) or a water bottle.

We switched to the next car seat (a convertible one) at 7 months as he was approaching the 22lb limit and he just didn't look as comfy in it anymore.. his head was nearing the top and we were going on a long road trip so we made the switch then and he's MUCH comfier in his Britax Boulevard and will use it RF for a couple more years  They're legs can hang over the end if it's long and lean, his head just can't reach the top... my LO tends to cross his legs anyways :)

Have you moved the shoulder straps all the way up - my LO was quite squashed looking and a bit uncomfy until i did this around 7 months - open the door in the back and you can slide them up...

No help on the sitting up problem I'm afraid i keep william lying flat i thought the tilting option was more for the pearl than the pebble. have you got window blinds or anything that would be stopping him from seeing out from lying back?

He can see out....didn't know you can adjust the straps  will get HDTV to look at that!

The Pebble is designed to be tilted in the base if you want to.

Definitely try moving the straps up - it makes a huge difference whenever I realise it needs doing for my LOs.

If you do end up needing to move him to a bigger seat, you could look at an ERF seat that is suitable from birth, or some are from 6 months so you can keep him safe. ERF seats tend to be higher up than baby seats so they get a great view out of the window. If he's wanting to look around now, do you have a mirror for him? My LOs have both liked watching me/OH drive :) If you're giving him toys, make sure it is nothing hard. In an accident, anything that isn't soft can become a missile!
