After 3 losses we were referred to a fertility specialist. He found one of my thyroid antibodies was very elevated and causing my miscarriages. He put me on 25 mcg Levithyroxine before BFP and baby aspirin and progesterone through the first trimester. We had our rainbow November 2016.

Just got a very early faint bfp at about 11dpo. Had hcg blood done 12 dpo and it was at 10. Went today for a recheck on hcg and waiting for results. I’m still on the Levithyroxine for the elevated thyroid antibody, but I’m totally nervous. I know we were blessed to have our daughter at all, but I just want 1 sibling for her Earthside.

Anyone else in a similar boat? I know it can be hard to be in a thread with people who already have rainbows and are hoping for another, but if that you, you’re definitely welcome here too! Sticky dust to all the May Rainbows!

Hi hmmohra and congrats on your bfp. Im very nervously 5 weeks pregnant and due in may. I have had 3 losses. Two before DS and 1 after. Thing thats worrying me is the fact I don't feel sick at all. My bbs are sore and occasional back ache, but other that that nothing. I have felt grotty early on with all pregnancies but not this one. Not sure if to feel worried or grateful, or its just going to hit me later on. How are you feeling?

Hi hmmohra and congrats on your bfp. Im very nervously 5 weeks pregnant and due in may. I have had 3 losses. Two before DS and 1 after. Thing thats worrying me is the fact I don't feel sick at all. Congratulations on your BFP! I completely forgot I posted this. I unfortunately had a chemical pregnancy. My hcg barely rose in 2 days and then started to decline. It was much easier this time because we had our rainbow baby almost 2 years ago, and we are going to try again as soon as we are given the okay. I have to remind myself that the medical reasons for my losses have been diagnosed, but the solution then only puts me at the regular chance for loss. I’d still love to chat with you, and hopefully I’ll have another BFP very soon! Good luck! I also had barely any symptoms with my rainbow, so maybe you’re just lucky this time. Are you haveing beta testing done?

I am sorry about your chemical. They don't really do beta testing in the part of the UK that I am. I am feeling very bloated and my bbs and back are sore. If I can get through at least the next fortnight I might start to relax. All my losses have happened at 6 weeks so if I get to 7 I hope that will reassure me
