Maybe I'll count my 2ww in hours so it passes faster?

Seriously, I am going crazy. I am officially 8dpo but had an early m/c at 5 weeks with my last cycle and one at 6w in Feb. My Doc advised me that for my own emotional health I should consider not testing until a week AFTER my period is late. That means I am starting my 2ww today! AARGH, never going to make it. I have got my bfp's at 10dpo before so knowing I could find out will drive me crazy, but waiting to lose it would be awful too and at another week and no period it would give the bean a better chance of a sticky bean.

Has anyone else been given advice like this, or chosen to wait?

So officially I should test on September 11th but this would push it to the 18th. SO FAR AWAY.

Any advice on how to keep busy and keep my mind of this. I have no discipline to stay off the computer, I need to be out of the house and busy!!

I always tell myself I'm going to wait as I had a mc at 5 weeks in feb... but I always end up testing. The amount of money I've used on hpts I could probably have bought a house lmao XD

It scares the life out of me that it will happen again, so I know how you feel. I hope this is a sticky one for you this month though hun :)

Hey croydongirl--sorry to hear about your losses. I had a miscarriage at 9 wks in May, so understand the fear and uncertainty. Did your doctor have any ideas about testing your progestrone or something if you find out that you're pregnant to see if there is anything they can do? I realize this may be too personal, but my doc said to call as soon as I get a BFP so they can check everything and see if I need some sort of supplement.

She said the losses were so early there was nothing to suggest it would happen again. She did say I could go and get tested as soon as I get my BFP to make sure there is nothing wrong, but she said looking at my charts and stuff (from taking BBT) my cycles looked great and she doubted there was a preoblem with progesterone or anything.

It just feels crazy to keep doing the same thing but expecting it to be different so its tough, but i know she is trying to be helpful. Not stressing me out that there is a problem, but reminding me it is very normal - it's just hard.
She said there was nothing they could test for with such early losses.
So I guess we just keep going, and pray for our sticky bean.

It's crazy--everyone I work with right now is pregnant and it seems like its just so easy for some! I'm 4 dpo, so sticky baby dust to us both!!

I agree! I'm so glad my co-worker is on maternity leave now, I was starting to pull my hair out with her. Always complaining about how she hated being pregnant... needless to say how angry it was making me. Especially as she's only about 2 weeks ahead of what I'd have been if I hadn't mc'd

Anyway, sticky baby :dust: to you both. I'm off to bed. night night
