Yesterday was my little girls birthday party and my auntie brought my cousin along. At the party, she mentioned he had a rash which he had gotten a few days earlier. They thought it was chicken pox but maybe measles. Am I wrong thinking that measles is dangerous in pregnancy? I am fretting x

Rubella is dangerous during pregnancy (german measles), rubeola or what we commonly call measles cannot cause birth defects though there is a possible, increased risk of miscarriage. I would just be vigilant, it could be roseola which is unlikely to cause complications which is much more common and very mild, it could be an allergic reaction. It is unlikely to be measles.
