My dd is almost 9mths. She's got a chesty cough and has now developed a runny nose.

Is there a specific medicine which might help her? Coughing is disturbing her sleep.

I've offered her Calprofen so far - she won't take Calpol, when she's really miserable and the cough is troubling her.

Thank you

I'd lay money on it being bronchiolitis. Its really going about at the moment I know of 5 of my friends lo's having it this week. Ds has it as well I thought it was just a cold. You can give benylin children cough meds and calpofen. I would keep an eye though jakes didn't improve and hes on antibiotics for it as he started wheezing and having intercostal retractions (sucking in under the ribs) which ment he was strugglin to breath.

Hope lo gets better soon X
