megabus complaint

not too sure where I stand here but basically

on January 1st I had booked 4 seats from Dundee to Aberdeen... long story short bus never showed customer services was shut due to new year and upon eventually getting customer services(january 4th) bus wasnt actually scheduled...

now surely.. this is majorly their fault? I got a refund and have sent them 3 emails and a recorded delivery letter( which has been received and signed for)

we were meant to be going to the football.. tix cost me £56.. hotel had been booked £55.. and trains home £50..... Because it was their error I am expecting them to reimburse me

I have heard nothing from them!!! Where do I stand?
 
I think a refund is all they HAVE to give you really x
 
I agree ... I think legally all they have to give you is your megabus money back :( Sorry x
 
Similar thing happened to me once except I was stuck in Southampton with OH and an 8 mo old baby. We didn't even get a refund. Megabus really suck.
Fingers crossed something will be done about it :)
 
Id make a complaint against them to watchdog...set up a group on facebook for other people who have had problems with them and get them all to complain! :) x
