Men and his sperm

Ladies ask your men this...... Has he ever heard of or has he ever tried soaking his package in ice water to “wake up” his sperm? I’ve never heard of this. My DH has. What are your thoughts? What are his thoughts? Please do tell me your thoughts or stories or comments.

I have never heard of this! Pretty sure my DH would cringe at the thought of it. I've heard of not letting sperm get too hot, but never heard of putting ice there.

Just had a IVF consult last week and on the list of things to do for my husband is “cool testicles nightly for 10 to 15 min with a few ice cubes in a bag covered with a towel.” He does this from when I start my stimulation meds until retrieval, which will be able about 13 days.
