Menopur

Starting my 1st IVF cycle in 2 weeks. Dr wants me on Menopur but my insurance doesn't cover it. Anyone know of an alternative to Menopur? I've emailed my RE's office but you ladies usually have answers.

I had a round with gonal f, probably best to see what is covered and ask your doctor what is best, or pay for it yourself? Good luck

Thanks. The only alternative to Menopur is Repronex. It is covered by insurance but is an IM medication.

It's just like Menopur. Just given into a muscle. Not as popular because it hurts more. Prob why insurance covers it. No one uses it! Lol
