Microwaves

Anyone else worried about microwaves? I know I know there's not a real danger but I can't help but think twice before using the microwave. Am I being paranoid?

I am kinda paranoid about mine as well, but with a 2 year old and working a full time job, its not so much of a option to not use it at all, I am just very careful, as soon as I start it I walk away to the other part of the kitchen or out of the room, I make sure I am not standing anywhere near it...

I've always been a little suspicious of the microwave but have never read anything very conclusive. . . the only absolute I have about is to never, ever.. . reheat anything in plastic in there. . . always in a glass dish. ..
