Middle names

Do you have them for the LO? How did you choose them?

We came to a concrete decision yesterday over ours. Our other two kids have 3 m/ns although they don't use them, so we decided on the same for the boy.

He will be Luca Gary Raymond thomas surname.
He will be named after his dad and our dads.

We dropped Hugh (my grandas name) which we like but don't have room for.
If dd2 had been a boy she would have been 'Gary Raymond Thomas Hugh Surname' and known as Junior but Katie Price put me off Junior.
Dh's middle names are Douglas and Thomas.
Well, what a giggle we had with these. Dh suggested we use the Glasgow equivalent of the names (including his) and call him :
Luca Gaz Shuggy Duggy Tam Raymie Surname
He also suggested Luca Raymondo. I think I'll pass

Ours will be the name of my OH's grandfather, and my grandfather.

the only thing id say is to hyphenate any names you want included. DS has 2 middle names and i hate how on paperwork they only include the 1st one.

Hes Nathaniel Owen Lee but they put Nathaniel Owen

I wish I had hyphenated it.

That must be a pain. We didn't hyphenate the girls because they generally only use their first names except on their passports, they're really for sentimental rather than official reasons.

we choose the first name just because we like it! then we have 2 middle names, 1 we choose each and they are named after people.

i.e. my sons first name we chose as we loved it and agreed on it
my sons second name is the name of my brother who passed away
my sons third name is the name of his grandfather (my partners dad)
and his surname is my partners surname as we are not married

If we have a boy his middle name will be Derek after OH's dad who died last yr, and if it's a girl it'll be Lindsey after my mum x
