Midwife appointment!

Just got back from my 16 week midwife appointment and am very happy
Baby has a nice strong heartbeat which i already knew as i have been using my doppler but i suppose its nice to have the confirmation from a professional! As last time i was pregnant no heartbeat was found at 16 weeks
Looking forward to my next scan on 4th Oct

Also forgot to mention i have been feeling little flutters the last coule days so am feeling very reassured!

Aww thanks! what date is your baby due? Mine is due 18th Feb although at my 12 week scan they put me 3days further so hopefully baby will arrive sooner. We are going to be staying team yellow too found out with my son so we wanted a nice suprise this time round

Babies due 11 Feb - I so cannot wait hee hee! I'm getting quite excited as work are discussing my maternity leave etc so it's starting to feel a bit more "real" at last!

I've been put forward a week, my original due date was 18th! We're staying team yellow too, although this is our first. Eeek. Did I mention I am excited??!!!

When's your next scan?

Ha yeh im starting to get excited aswell lol! Aww its nice that your keeping team yellow on your first my partner really wanted to find out with my son so he was happy that we didnt find out this time round! Our next scan is oct 4th so will be almost 21 weeks then!

Hello yeh you are on my friend list lol! I remember you saying you were due on the same day as me
How have you been feeling this pregnancy? Thats a bit dissapointing that they didnt listen for a heartbeat
I bought myself an angelsounds doppler and have been using it from 13weeks as i was a bit paranoid about losing another baby but all has been well so very happy

Im doing ok tbh , spotty and greasy and tired but nothing major.

luckily i heard the heartbeat at my private scan sat so i know all is well ! If it had of been my usual midwife im sure she would have had a go at finding it as she did with my other 2 kids , oh well .

i think i would obsess to much with a doppler but i think i have an anterior placenta so if i dont start feeling her kick me soon i may invest in one

I think i was just so paranoid because this pregnancy has gone so well i was constantly worrying because i had no symptoms and when i was previously pregnant i was so sick and tired etc, so the doppler just put my mind at rest really i was using it everyday at first but now only use it every couple days now im feeling more confident! What arr you hoping for this time or dont you really mind? We already have a son and we found out the sex with him but going to keep it suprise this time!

they have said we are having a girl will be great after 2 boys , im still not 100% convinced though lol im in shock !
this is the first time we have found out we have kept both the others a secret but this time i had an overwhelming desire to find out . im not rushing out shopping till i have my 20 week scan though just in case!
