midwife at 13weeks 4days ?

just wondering if you think she will try and listen to heartbeat or if its too early to do that?

Hi, I think most places have stopped listening for heartbeat now at midwife appointment, only see it on scan. But it would definately not have been too early, you can hear the heart beat from around 10 weeks xx

Perhaps not, they didnt when I was those dates at the midwife and they only did it the other day at 17weeks.

Have you thought about buying your own doppler?

My MW said that at the next appointment she will try, but can't promise to be able to find it

My midwife said she would try but not to worry if she couldn't find it as i was only 11+4. We heard the hb for a few seconds which was lovely but they do like to play hide and seek at that stage. You could always ask her to try but don't if you think you'll be worried if she cant find it.
