Midwife doesnt deliver here

ughhhh Im so upset they don't deliver here and on top of that its not guaranteed she will be there for the vbac. How crazy right? They have like 3 doctors and 3 midwives and you never know who will be on call that day. Im like where is the trust and closeness with at least 1 person. You have a group??Anyone know what Im trying to say??Im ughhhhh,....

i got stuck with a hospital midwife last time because I had found out I was pregnant really late in the picture and they were the only one I could get. She didn't do deliveries, and meant whoever was on at the hospital when I was in labour, was who would deliver my baby. I don't even remember the midwives name now.
Luckily this time I've found one that will look after me all the way through, prenatal, labour/ birth and postnatal care, which is brilliant!

Thats how the doctors do it over by me.. I guess its better for them since they go on a rotation and don't have to cancel on their regular patients all the time. But it does stink! I know my friend was worried she'd get this one doctor she hated, but she lucked out and he wasn't on call that day, her own doctor was.
Best thing is to try and meet them all so you get comfortable with each of them.

(would you want your MW to attend you if she was just with someone for 24 hours straight and is ready to pass out on her feet?)
