Hi,

I am purely midwife led care amoung a small team of community midwives and have been blessed with a very low risk pregnancy so far.

My little madam however is breech!

After weeks of research into the procedure, my hospital and the specific consultant who performs them at my hospital I've decided that I will be attempting an ECV to try & shift the monkey!

My question is, will my midwife arrange this? I've got an appointment on Monday or would I be needing to arrange it myself? I don't want to be hanging around for an appointment and my midwives can be a little..ahem..slow at arranging things!

I'm not sure if its the same for you, but when my daughter was breech, my midwife called my hospital and arranged an appointment with the fetal assessment team, who after doing another scan to confirm she was still breech, then set up an appointment with the specialist who performed the ecv. I would speak to your midwife.x
