DH and I were talking earlier- he thinks it could happen without us having realised, I think it would be obvious... not sure which one of us is right!

This only happened to us once, and it was instantly noticeable. As soon as it was removed, my OH realised that there had been a leak. I can't speak for everyone of course *g* but he tends to tie a knot in it as soon as it's been removed, and that's when he saw what had happened.

He would feel it my ex could never put them on properly and they split a lot (I was on the pill too so didn't worry about getting pregnant) but he always noticed and stopped to change it.
Also this is horrible but sometimes the end of the condom came off and was still inside me without me knowing until it fell out later (sorry tmi) But I definitely knew it had split!!!

Usually it is noticeable. It depends on what kind of sex you're having (rough, really passionate, slow?). When ours split, we were kinda really going at it but my OH automatically felt it. Like the above poster said, we always tie a knot in our condom after using it to make sure there were no leaks.

He does check the condom, but he thinks it could miss it. I told him I'm sure it would be obvious, which seems to be what you lovely ladies say... he can stop panicking!

Whether it's obvious when it happens I guess could depend on how severe the tear is, but I'm pretty sure that, like all these other lovely ladies have said, you'd definitely notice it after the fact. I've had it happen a few times several years ago, and OH noticed immediately.

Its definitely obvious after the event but during? Only if you look down did I realise it was broke. I dont think my ex realised.... but saying that it all crumpled down at the base of his penis so he must have noticed but didnt want to say anything.... I was on the pill so it wasnt a major issue

We tie a knot in the end so you can usually tell even with a pinprick.
To be honest it would be rare if you could pregnant from just a pinprick amount. I know it technically could happen but the chances would be low xx
