Ever since I had LO I've had atleast one migraine a month... he is 3 months now. Normally I don't get migraines if I do it was very rare. Any one else having more migraines or headaches after having LO? At my 6 week checkup the nurse said it was an epidural side effect... but I told her I had just had one around 5 weeks  I'm recovering from the one I had last night now

I don't think it's the epidural, as I actually DID have the puncture from my epidural and it caused constant, horrible headaches 24/7 until it healed.

Awhile back, after ds1 (but quite awhile after I had him) , I was having very frequent headaches. I discovered, strangely, that exercise made 100% difference. If I exercised at least 3 days a week, the headaches would stop within a few days of following consistent exercise, and wouldn't return unless I started slacking and not exercising.
It never ever failed to follow that pattern.

It could be down to hormonal changes. I get a migraine every month around the time AF is due. I had loads after LO was born and my GP told me it was hormonal and gave me some medication to help get rid of them. Now if I feel one coming on, I take a tab ASAP and barely ever get to the pain stage. I'd pay a visit to your GP

I've been a sufferer of migraines ever since the birth of first child many years ago. For me they are definatly hormonal as they seem to occur once a month and during pregnancy they disappear

Very strange. I will have to pay the Dr. a visit, thank yous :flower: Prob is hormones I have AF visiting now but I can't remember if AF was in town the last couple times

I had at least 1 a week i didn't have an epi but im on the pill so could be why x
