Hey Ladies!

Yesterday, I experienced my first migraine and man, it kicked my BUTT! I've had many sinus headaches before, but this was much worse. I pretty much closed the curtains, shut the door, and stayed in bed all day.

Being pregnant, there wasn't much I could take. Tylenol did nothing and I tried Claritin and it relieved some pressure for about a hour then the pain came back full on.

Is anyone else dealing with migraines? Do you have any tips or tricks to ease the pain?

Hi! I've suffered with migraines for the past 22years - I had my first one at age 4... Different things work for different people. I have to keep warm (wooly hat, scarf, many layers of clothing and under duvet) when I have one or it gets worse so cold cloths on the forehead are a no no for me. I also have to block out all light and sound and have a very large bowl near by and try to sleep it off... But, like I said, everyone is different. My MIL has to stay cold or it gets worse. I never found any medication that worked so learnt to deal with them. In fact, it's the only pain I really know how to deal with so heaven only knows what I'm going to be like in labour.... :) It might just be a case of seeing what is most comfortable for you.

I'm sorry, that probably wasn't of much help to you!

Good luck finding something that works!xox
