Milk comes out too fast...

Help! My milk seems to flow so fast it makes LO gag and makes him quite upset it also seems to give him more wind as he comes off the breast quite a bit!

What can I do to help?

I had this at beginning. I found pumping or hand expressing just to get the let down then after that the flow slows down considerably!

I get this too - its like a jet lol!
I express a little first as my LO was choking.

I'm at this stage too and I feel so sorry for baba when he gets winds because of it! I'm going to try expressing a bit before feeds!

i have to say mine's still this way sometimes though i do wonder if its something i'm eating making it worse? i really have no idea but its a bit of a prob feeding in public she chokes, comes off then i squirt milk everywhere i'm 6 months in so iv'e not cracked it yet well done for bf though hun stick at it x

I get this. Today I managed to squirt it all over her face as she pulled away I've started trying to hand express a bit before I feed her, but I don't usually keep it for her as it's just the watery foremilk
