Milk leaking 4 weeks after early miscarriage

Hi girls.
I'm a bit puzzled. I MC'd on the 2nd of January (haven't had a period yet) and last night my right breast starting to leak?! Sorry for tmi.
I was just sat down getting ready for bed and had the strangest ache in my breast, and then it started leaking?! It looks exactly like breast milk so I don't see how it could be anything else however I haven't produced milk in almost 3 years as I only breastfed my son for a few weeks.
I've not leaked at all since and now it's happening I'm so confused! I've woken up and the pain is still very much there too

With my first pregnancy, I had never been pregnant and after my miscarriage I started leaking milk from both breasts quite frequently, I just didn't touch my breasts for a few weeks and it stopped. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage.

It is horrible, I've been right there with you sweetheart, and so have so many others, the loss forum on this site is really helpful. Hopefully it doesn't last too long for you, it might be worth getting some nipple pads for the leaking, I had quite a lot spill into my bra.
